Trident SK328A Exhaust Silencer Kit (Dryspell Plus 100-375)
The Trident SK328A is the factory exhaust silencer kit for Dryspell Plus modular heatless desiccant air dryers in sizes 100 through 375 SCFM. It supplies both mufflers plus the connectors and fittings needed to rebuild the exhaust ports on one dryer, so purge exhaust returns to its designed flow and sound level in a single service.
Heatless desiccant dryers depressurize the offline tower to atmosphere on every cycle, and the silencers absorb that blast repeatedly. Over time the muffler element loads with desiccant dust and packs down. A restricted silencer holds back pressure in the regenerating tower, which cuts regeneration effectiveness and drives the pressure dew point up. A blown silencer goes the other way and becomes a serious noise problem in the compressor room.

- Two AD1700 1 inch muffler connectors
- Two CD1329 1 inch hex nuts, BSP

Symptoms of a silencer that needs replacing
- Noticeably louder purge exhaust or a sharp report on each cycle
- Rising pressure dew point with no other obvious cause
- Visible desiccant dust packed into the muffler element
- Back pressure showing on the regenerating tower during depressurization
Replaces the older individual muffler
This kit supersedes the previous stand-alone AD658 muffler for sizes 45 through 375, which is now obsolete. Replace both silencers at the same time so the two towers regenerate evenly.
