This is a replacement activated carbon adsorber element for the FIAC filter housing that takes part number 7210770010. FIAC is an Italian compressor and compressed air equipment manufacturer, and its parts run to long numeric codes rather than descriptive suffixes, so the number itself is the only reliable way to identify the cartridge.
Carbon adsorbers remove oil vapor and odor. They are not a substitute for mechanical filtration and they do not dry air, which is why they always sit behind a coalescing filter element and are specified alongside air dryers rather than in place of them.
Because carbon loses capacity without adding restriction, differential pressure never signals that it is finished. Put it on a calendar. When ordering, read the number off the cartridge you are removing, since FIAC housings of similar size take different element codes.
