ELGi Element - Adsorber - ECFP20E
This is a replacement activated carbon adsorber element for the ELGi ECFP20E filter. ELGi is an Indian compressor manufacturer whose rotary screw and piston machines are used worldwide, and the ECFP line is the in-line filtration that sits downstream of them.
A carbon adsorber holds oil vapor and odor on the carbon surface. It is not a particulate filter and it will not remove water. Those jobs belong to the stages ahead of it, so keep a working coalescing filter element upstream and let your air dryers handle moisture before the air ever reaches the carbon.
Carbon elements are replaced on time rather than on differential pressure, because capacity falls away without any change in restriction. Note that ECFP20E is the element code and not the housing code, so order to the number on the cartridge you pull out.
