eCompressedAir Element - Adsorber - ACF20D
This activated carbon adsorber element replaces the ACF20D cartridge. Carbon adsorbers take oil vapor and odor out of compressed air, the portion of compressor lubricant that stays airborne as a vapor and therefore passes straight through mechanical filters.
The carbon stage goes last. Any liquid that reaches it consumes capacity without doing useful work, so the coalescing filter element in front has to be current, and the air arriving from your air dryers should already be dry.
Because a spent carbon bed adds almost no restriction, a differential pressure gauge will not tell you when to change it. Use a calendar interval instead. Within the ACF group the trailing letter marks the media type, so order to the full code on the cartridge you remove.
Note: This is an equivalent part and not an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part number. Some manufacturers require OEM parts to maintain your warranty. | Air Supply Number: FWF20AC-AB
NOTE: Actual product may be different from pictured!
