Eastern Air Products Element - Adsorber - EA20VE
An activated carbon adsorber element that replaces the EA20VE cartridge in its matching Eastern Air Products filter housing. The carbon bed holds oil vapor and the odor carried with it, cleaning up what droplet filtration leaves behind.
Carbon is a finishing stage and it depends on the stages before it. Liquid water or oil aerosol reaching the bed uses up capacity that should have gone to vapor, so keep the upstream coalescing filter element on schedule and let the air dryers take the moisture out first.
Replace carbon on time. There is no differential pressure signal, because the bed stops adsorbing long before it restricts flow. The VE suffix identifies a specific build in the EA20 group, so order to the exact code on the cartridge you are pulling rather than to the nominal size.
