This equivalent GR 6 grade coalescing element replaces the cartridge fitted to the Donaldson/ultrafilter housing listed as 1C486051. It shares the physical envelope of the other elements in this housing family but carries a different media grade.
GR 6 sits between the coarse and the high-efficiency grades, and is a common choice where a plant wants better aerosol removal than a general-purpose element gives without the pressure drop of the finest media. The full grade ladder is listed under coalescing filter elements, and air filters covers housings and the other stages.
Fit only the grade your system was designed around, since swapping grades changes both efficiency and pressure drop. Read the code off the old cartridge when you order.
