Donaldson / Ultrafilter Adsorber Element AK4/1.5
A replacement activated carbon adsorber element for the ultrafilter AK4 housing, size 1.5. The AK designation marks the carbon adsorber series and the number after the slash identifies the element size within it, so both parts of the code matter when ordering.
Carbon adsorbers remove oil vapour and the odours that come with it. They are not particulate filters and they are not dryers, so they only perform as intended when the air reaching them has already passed through drying and coalescing stages.
Fit the element that matches the code on the cartridge you remove, since neighbouring sizes in the AK4 range look similar but do not seal the same. Our desiccant air dryers and coalescing filter elements cover the upstream stages.
