An equivalent coalescing element for the Donaldson/ultrafilter AK3/1 position. Note that AK3/1 and AK3/15 are different parts; the second figure is part of the code, not a rounding of it.
Coalescing media pulls fine oil and water aerosol out of the air stream by merging it into droplets that drain from the sump. It is the stage most systems rely on to keep liquid oil out of dryers and downstream tooling. Browse coalescing filter elements for the full range, and air and oil separators for the separation duty back at the compressor.
Replace on rising pressure drop or on schedule. Read the code from the old cartridge before ordering so that the size and grade both carry over.
