An equivalent 25 micron interceptor element for the Donaldson/ultrafilter housing specified as 1C486054. It performs the bulk-removal duty at the front of a compressed air filtration train.
At 25 micron this element is deliberately open. Its purpose is to protect the finer cartridges downstream from rust, scale and carryover slugs, not to polish the air. Pair it with the fine stages listed under coalescing air filters, and see air filters for the wider element and housing range.
Replace on rising pressure drop across the housing. Order by the housing part number stamped on the bowl, or by the code on the element you are removing, so that the length and seat match.
