This is a replacement GR 4 coalescing element for domnick hunter filter housings that accept the K030AATS cartridge. It is a service part, so the housing stays in the line and only the element is exchanged.
Coalescing elements are consumables. The media pack captures oil and water aerosol until it is loaded, at which point differential pressure across the filter rises and the compressor spends energy pushing air through a spent cartridge. Changing on schedule is normally cheaper than the extra power drawn by a blocked element.
Note that the TS suffix distinguishes this build from the plain K030AA, so the two are ordered separately even though the housing size is the same. Other sizes and grades are listed under coalescing filters and elements, and the broader air filters section covers the housings these cartridges fit.
