This GR 2 coalescing element replaces the K085PL cartridge in domnick hunter compressed air filter housings. Only the element is supplied, which is the normal way these are bought once a housing is in service.
The job of a coalescing stage is to get liquid oil and water aerosol out of the air before it reaches the equipment that cares about it. Air tools, cylinders and valves tolerate a fair amount, but paint work, instrumentation and any downstream drying stage do not. Fitting the correct grade of element is what sets how much gets through, so it is worth matching the cartridge you remove rather than choosing on size alone.
