The ABAC XPN Flex is the tankless machine in ABAC's At-Home DIY range: a 1.5 HP oil free compressor in a wall mountable case with a 23 ft air hose already wound on a built in reel. There is no receiver, so it makes air only while the motor runs, and that is the point. It hangs on a garage wall instead of taking floor space, the hose stays off the ground, and a 10 piece inflation kit comes in the box, so the tire gauge and the blow nozzle are on the unit rather than in a drawer somewhere.

What tankless means for your air tools
A tankless compressor banks no air. Everything it delivers comes straight off the pump while the motor is running, which is ideal for inflation, where the demand is small and steady, and poor for anything that wants a sustained high volume blast. Do not plan on running a blow gun continuously, a die grinder, a sander, or a spray gun on this machine. Those need stored air. If that is the work, start at a piston air compressor with a receiver instead. For topping off tires, filling sports equipment, clearing dust off a bench or a filter, and short bursts of brad nailing or stapling, the XPN Flex does the job without the weight, the noise, or the floor space of a tank machine.
How it compares
Within the ABAC at-home and contractor range the XPN Flex is the extreme end of the portability trade. The Suitcase carries the same 1.5 HP in an enclosed case with a 1.6 gallon tank at 120 PSI and 22 lbs, so it stores a little air and still lifts one handed. The Rollcage runs 2 gallons at 135 PSI and a quiet 62 dBA. Stepping into the contractor machines, the Power Force gives 6 gallons at 175 PSI for 40 lbs and the Twin Force runs a cast iron oil lubricated pump at 135 PSI. At 13.5 lbs the XPN Flex is the lightest of the group by a wide margin and the only one that mounts on a wall with the hose already attached. Choose it for convenience and access, not for stored air.
Typical applications
Car, truck, bike, mower, and trailer tires, sports balls, pool floats and air mattresses, blowing dust off benches, filters, and equipment, airbrushing, and light brad nailing or stapling within its airflow range. It suits a home garage, a workshop, a utility room, a shed, or a work van, and it works well as a dedicated inflation station alongside a larger shop compressor that handles the heavy air tools.
