An equivalent replacement for coalescing element AC254E. It fits the housing that part number was written for and takes over oil aerosol and water mist removal with no piping changes required.
Coalescing filtration works by capture and drainage rather than straining. The media holds the incoming mist, captured droplets grow until gravity moves them down, and the liquid gathers in the housing bowl for the drain to discharge.
Pair the element with a correctly sized air dryer when water vapor also needs handling, and see coalescing filters and elements for other sizes.
