Two pieces make up the system: the compact connection collar, which clamps around the pipe to form a sealed push-connect joint, and the mating flange, which bolts to a flanged fitting, valve, or accessory. Together they give a compressed air network a serviceable, leak-resistant transition at the sizes where threaded pipe becomes impractical to handle.

These parts belong to the Prevost PPS 100% aluminum network, a modular compressed air piping platform built around fast installation, corrosion resistance, and strong flow performance. Because the joint is mechanical rather than welded or threaded, a run can be opened, modified, or extended later without cutting into the line.

Compact Connection Collar vs. Flange

The compact connection collar, part number prefix PPS1 CC, is sized by the outside diameter of the pipe it grips. It is the piece that does the sealing and holding directly on the aluminum pipe. The flange, part number prefix PPS1 FL, is sized by flange size and provides the bolt pattern for mating to another flanged component in the network. Most installations use both, but they are ordered separately so you can replace or add only the piece you need.
