This air/oil separator is supplied as an equivalent replacement for Chicopee Engineering part number CEA69, listed under Air Supply Number 01-03005. It is a direct service part for lubricated rotary screw compressors due for a separator change.
The element sits in the separator housing and coalesces the fine oil mist out of the air leaving the airend, draining the recovered oil back to the sump. Keeping that recovery working is what holds oil consumption down and keeps oil out of your distribution piping. Once the media is loaded, differential pressure climbs and the compressor burns extra energy for the same delivered air. Our air/oil separator catalog covers a broad set of OEM crossovers.
