Busch 532.200.01 is a vacuum pump exhaust mist eliminator, and this listing is an equivalent replacement for it. The element separates the fine oil aerosol out of the exhaust stream of an oil lubricated pump so the oil can be recovered inside the machine rather than discharged with the air.
Two things usually prompt a change. The first is a visible haze or oily film near the exhaust, which means oil is getting past the media. The second is a climb in exhaust back pressure, which means the media is loaded and the pump is fighting to push air out. Either one is a signal to change the element rather than wait for the next scheduled interval.
