This is the 1 metre inlet whip hose that connects a Prevost hose reel to your compressed air drop. It is 10 mm bore and 14 mm outside diameter, and the short flexible run is what lets the reel swing on its bracket without putting bending load on the supply pipe.
Replace it when the whip has cracked, blistered, or started leaking at either end, which typically happens before the main reel hose wears out because the whip flexes constantly at the same point. It is sensible to renew it whenever you rebuild the swivel.
