The nano ABP heated blower purge twin tower desiccant air dryer delivers clean, dependably dry compressed air for large industrial systems, with rated flows from 800 to 6000 SCFM and a standard pressure dew point of -40°F (ISO 8573.1 water class 2). By combining a low-watt-density heater and a regenerative blower that draws in free atmospheric air, the ABP regenerates its desiccant beds while consuming very little of your own compressed air, keeping purge losses to an average of just 0 to 2% over a four-hour drying cycle. That energy-efficient design makes the ABP a smart choice as demand grows and every wasted SCFM adds to your operating cost.
How heated blower purge drying works
- Wet compressed air enters the online tower, where a bed of activated alumina desiccant adsorbs water vapor and delivers dry air downstream.
- While one tower dries, the opposite tower is regenerated. A regenerative blower pulls in ambient air and passes it across the low-watt-density heater.
- The heated air is driven through the offline desiccant bed, releasing the captured moisture and venting it to atmosphere.
- A short dry-air cooling step conditions the regenerated bed, and the towers switch so drying continues without interruption.
- Mounted pre-filtration and after-filtration protect the desiccant and polish the outlet air to the rated ISO quality class.
Key features
- Heated blower purge regeneration uses free atmospheric air, cutting compressed-air purge to roughly 0 to 2% over the drying cycle.
- Low-watt-density heater with a fully insulated, corrosion-resistant regeneration circuit built for long life in harsh industrial environments.
- Regenerative blower with a TEFC premium-efficiency motor and filtered air intake for rugged, low-maintenance operation.
- ASME code twin-tower pressure vessels with UL / cUL compliant controls and made-in-USA activated alumina desiccant.
- Mounted pre-filter and after-filter supplied as standard on every model.
- Lifting lugs and forklift pockets for straightforward rigging and installation.
- Standard -40°F pressure dew point, with tighter particulate and lower dew point options available.

Frequently asked questions
What dew point does the ABP deliver?
A standard -40°F pressure dew point that meets ISO 8573.1 water class 2. Field installations have reported drier performance in favorable conditions, and lower dew point options are available.
How much compressed air does the ABP use to regenerate?
Because regeneration uses a blower and heater with free atmospheric air, compressed-air purge averages only about 0 to 2% over a four-hour cycle, far less than a heatless dryer of the same size.
Does it include filtration?
Yes. Every ABP ships with a mounted pre-filter and after-filter sized to the model, protecting the desiccant and polishing the outlet air.
What power supply is required?
The standard configuration runs on 460 VAC / 60 Hz. Confirm your available voltage when ordering.
How do I choose the right size?
Match the dryer to your peak flow at your minimum operating pressure and inlet temperature. For full technical data, refer to the nano ABP datasheet and general arrangement drawings, or contact us for a sizing recommendation.
