The Atlas Copco HiLight V7+ Photocell is a diesel-powered LED light tower built to flood a worksite with 75,000+ square feet of clean, glare-free illumination — and then keep doing it for up to 145 hours straight on a single tank. Photocell version — adds dusk-to-dawn auto-start and the LC1003 controller with integrated scheduler for fully autonomous, unattended operation.

Why the Photocell Variant

The standard V7+ requires a human to flip the start switch at the beginning of every shift. The Photocell version doesn't. Its built-in light sensor reads ambient light and triggers the engine to start at dusk and shut down at dawn — automatically, every day, without staffing overhead. For unmanned remote installs (pipeline pads, rural construction, perimeter security lighting, emergency response), this is the difference between a piece of equipment that needs a daily visit and one that just runs.

LC1003 Controller — The Real Differentiator

The vertical 25-foot mast rotates 340° on its base — chase shadows around stockpiles, deep excavations, and crane swing zones without repositioning the trailer. Beam spread covers 75,000 sq ft at 20 lux average and reaches 130,000 sq ft at the 1-lux/75° threshold.
