Description
Regularly replacing oil filters will prevent compressors from failing prematurely, and avoid oil contamination
Filtering oil protects compressors from damage by dirt, sand, rust pieces, etc.
Contaminated oil will damage the filter element, wear down the bearings and clog the oil-separator
High Pressure Oil Filters (below) include a Bypass Valve
The Bypass Valve is set to open at a specific differential pressures
When the pressure difference becomes too large, the Bypass Valve will open and allow oil to flow, without going through the oil-filter
