How the ACD5 Removes Condensate: Condensate enters the drain via one of two inlet connections, collecting in the translucent reservoir. As condensate accumulates, a stainless steel float switch rises, signaling when it reaches the preset level. The float switch then activates the straight-flow Posi Valve, opening a full-port drain to discharge condensate efficiently.

A dedicated indicator light illuminates to show the drain has power, while a second indicator clearly signals when the valve has been actuated by the float switch. Additionally, a manual override switch provides operational flexibility when needed.
