The BVD – Ball Valve Drain is engineered for the toughest applications, providing a non-clogging, full-port ball valve drain with a solid-state timer to efficiently remove condensate, oil, and water from compressed air systems. Designed for reliability and durability, this drain handles demanding environments with ease and is available in multiple sizes and pressure ratings up to 2,000 PSI.
Specific to Model:
The BVD Ball Valve Drain uses a timer-based control system with a full-port ball valve. A heavy-duty gear motor housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure powers the ball valve, rotating it 180° from closed to open and back during each cycle. The solid-state timer module initiates the cycle, which lasts about 8 seconds, fully draining condensate before returning to the closed position.
