That is not a typo in the table. The two sizes share a seat and orifice; what changes is the connection thread. So if your reason for going to 1-1\/4 in. is more flow, it is not there. If your reason is that the vessel has a 1-1\/4 in. tapping and you would rather not run a bushing into a relief device, that is a good reason, and bushing down a safety valve connection is poor practice anyway because the restriction eats into rated capacity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhere you genuinely need more flow than these pass, fit a second valve. Check the combined output of every compressor that can feed the receiver.
